Students in our FLL Club meet once a week to learn problem-solving, coding and engineering skills as they work in small groups to develop a Lego robot that navigates the missions of the year's FLL Challenge robot game. In addition to working on robot skills, students will study science and engineering topics related to year's theme, with a focus on work and careers done within those STEM fields. All meetings will take place at Holy Comforter.
Please note: Our FLL Club will use the same Lego Spike Prime sets and FIRST Lego League Challenge materials as our competitive teams, but will be taught more like a class and will be non-competitive. Because FIRST releases a new challenge each year, students are welcome to participate in our FLL Club for multiple years. Students who participate in FLL Club will be given priority over students on the waitlist if they want to move to one of our competitive FLL Teams in a future season, but we cannot guarantee that space will be available.
